Terms & Conditions

PAYMENTS:

  • For both individual guests and agents, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
  • Non-payment of the deposit will result in any bookings being cancelled without notice.
  • The balance (50%) should be paid at least 30 days prior to the client's arrival.
  • N.B: Please note that all bank charges are the responsibility of the payee.

NO CREDIT CARD FACILITY:

  • Due to its remote location, Hippo Lodge is NOT yet able to accept Debit or Credit Card payments.
  • We can only accept USD or ZMW Kwacha CASH at the lodge.

CANCELLATIONS:

  • The 50% deposit is not refundable in case of cancellation.
  • There is no refund for any booking cancellations (after payment in full) within 30 days prior to client arrival.

RIGHTS RESERVED:

  • Hippo Lodge reserves the right to change both Rates and Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
  • Travel Agents and Tour Operators are advised to contact Hippo Lodge to confirm the latest prices.
